1. Hydrate (the good old H2O!)
Water is vital for beautiful skin – it helps your body to flush out nasty toxins so they don’t try to escape through your skin (causing breakouts). Try to drink about 2 litres of water a day. The easiest way to do this is to carry a drink bottle with you so you don’t get caught out. If you don’t like the taste of water, try squeezing a little fresh lime or lemon into your bottle for a little extra zest.
2. Hygiene (a cleanse and scrub go a long way)
This may seem obvious, but is vital for radiant skin. Cleaning your skin twice a day gets rid of dirt and impurities and prevents your pores from becoming blocked, which can also lead to unpleasant lumps and bumps. It’s also a great idea to exfoliate once a week with a gentle scrub to give your skin a good clean out. Be careful not to over scrub though, as this can dry your lovely skin out and make it produce more oil. Here’s an extra hot tip - try rubbing Aloe Vera gel over your face before bed each night for a positively radiant glow.
3. Beauty Foods (get the good stuff in!)
If you want to look and feel your best, then you have to make sure you are feeding your body with the best foods and nutrients (because we really are what we eat!). You may not be able to control those annoying hormones affecting your skin but you can eat foods that are going to give you a gorgeous glow. Try to eat some of these ‘beauty foods’ each day:
4. Fibre (the toxin terminator!)
Sure, we all know that fibre keeps us ‘regular’, but more importantly it also helps to prevent damaging toxins from building up in our digestive system. If these toxins aren’t ‘terminated’ with fibre they can come out through our skin and cause nasty breakouts. Bump up your daily fibre intake by eating heaps of fresh fruits and veggies, plus whole grains and wonderful seeds like chia and flaxseeds.
5. Ditch from your diet:
Energy drinks –they may give you an instant energy hit but they are loaded with sugar and way too much caffeine (which is dehydrating for your skin and your whole body), remember you want to be glowing not buzzing! Alcohol and smoking are also on the ditch list if you want to keep your complexion (and entire body) looking and feeling impeccable.

The quickest way to look radiant is remove dull, devitalised skin cells. If you have an all-important party coming up take 1 pea size amount of Glycolic Scrub (rrp: $45), mix with warm water and gently massage over the face.
