It’s that time of the year again, when we can feel the nip in the air and rain is starting to fall – Yep It’s almost Winter!  However, before the weather decides to play havoc with your skin, leaving it all blotchy and dry, it is wise to switch to a new skincare regimen to make sure your skin is protected through the cooler climate. So without further ado. Here is Skinstiut’s Top 5: Winter Warmers For Glowing Skin In Colder Weather.

1. Gentle Glow

Only use antioxidant rich, gentle cleansers that revitalise your skin while restoring its natural moisture. 2. Keep Yourself Hydrated

Drink at least eight glasses of water everyday to keep yourself hydrated, especially in the colder months because we spend so much time in air-conditioning, or having the central heating on to keep us warm – our skin needs even more hydration. You have to eat and drink right to keep your system in order. Foods rich in Omega-3 fatty acids are good for your heart and reinforce the protective barrier function of the skin as well. 3. Sunscreen

You cannot stop sporting sunscreen thinking it’s a cold winter afternoon. UVA ageing rays are present all year round so applying a face SPF 50 is important to keep wrinkles at bay. 4. Avoid Harsh Conditions

No matter how tempting it is to bathe with hot water, it must be avoided at all cost.
